Bigg Boss 14's Rahul Vaidya and Nikki Tamboli used to talk a lot when the show had begun and bonded quite easily on account of both sharing Maharastian roots. However, soon after, Nikki fought with Rahul when she thought he had impolitely called her, telling him off that she wasn't his house dog. Rahul triend clarifying that he didn't intend to humiliate her, but they then stopped talking. After ward, both got nominated in the red zone along with Jaan Kumar Sanu, and the two began talking again, especially with Nikki consoling Rahul over his fight with Jasmin Bhasin.
After emerging from the red zone, Rahul had called Jasmin low-grade cunning during the tasks, on account of her wearing a lehenga instead of gym clothes like everyone else. Jasmin rebuked him for commenting on her attire and Nikki supported her this time, going so far as to call Rahul "shameless". Once again, he tried explaining that all he meant was that Jasmin was cunning to wear a lehenga as the other housemates could trip over it during tasks. Rahul told Nikki that she never understands what he tries to say and it's useless to try and be friends with her. Nevertheless, they continued be cordial to each other.
Then one day, Rahul told Nikki that he envied Aly Goni and Jasmin's friendship and wished to share that bond with someone. Nikki reminded him that they were good friends, and he hugged her and also gave her a few forehead kisses. Post that, his now-famous proposal to girlfriend Disha Parmar on national television occurred, and for some reason Nikki seemed taken back by it if not hurt and proceeded to pally up to Kavita Kaushik, who had told her that she liked her personality after entering the Bigg Boss house, and that it was quite different to what she had envisioned from outside.
On tonight's episode, at the time of nominations, Rahul said he'll think about choosing between Pavitra Punia and Nikki as the former is his good friend. He also told Nikki that he never expected her to backbite him. She accepted doing so, but added that none of it was intentional. Rahul then assured her that he'd think about whom to save, and though he did save Pavitra, he didn't nominate Nikki either. Following this, Nikki told him that she wanted to trust him fully again and reciprocate that trust, too, and that she doesn't trust Eijaz Khan no matter what others feel in the house. She also confided in him that she longed for a concrete friendship again between them, after which Rahul hugged her and planted multiple kisses on her forehead, concurring that he wished for the same.
The question arises though if Rahul Vaidya is making a mistake by trusting Nikki Tamboli again and will it come back to bite him later? Or will his confidence in her this time pay off in the long run? What do you think? Have your say by voting below:
