Shweta Tiwari turns 40, social media says she looks like daughter Palak's sister

Shweta Tiwari turned 40 on Sunday, 4th October, and she had double the reason to celebrate. Not only was she ringing in her birthday, but the actress also learned that she had tested for COVID-19 after being afflicted with the dreaded disease a few days ago. In fact, she had earlier declared on social media that she intends to pamper herself on her birthday. "Kal main bahar jaungi, apne aap ko pamper karungi (Tomorrow, I will go out and pamper myself)," Shweta Tiwari had written on Instagram.

Staying true to her word, the Shweta Tiwari indeed made a day of it with daughter Palal Tiwari, and again took to her Insta handle to post pics of the duo twinning and winning it in red and white, setting #MotherDaughterGoals for everyone out there. Check out their pictures below:

What caught the attention of social media though is how closely the mother and daughter resemble each other in terms of features, complexion and physicality, leaving everyone awestruck at how well Shweta has maintained herself over the years. In fact, several users left comments on the actress' post, enquirng if they are actually mother and daughter. "No way you guys are a mother and daughter, sisters it is," wrote one user while another added, "Who is mother and who is daughter?"

Meanwhile, Pala Tiwari will be making her Bollywood debut alongside Vivek Oberoi in Rosie. Talking about it, she had said, "Rosie is not your average horror film, it's an amalgamation of romance, spine chilling thrills, laced with an intriguing perspective. What makes it even better is the eximious team of people behind it. I'm truly honoured to be a part of this production."
