Devoleena Bhattacharjee is all set for the new season of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2. The actress who was a part of Bigg Boss 13 is known for her comments on the reality show. Some months back, things got really nasty between Shehnaaz Gill/SidNaaz fans and her. BollywoodLife spoke to Devoleena Bhattacharjee EXCLUSIVELY about her new show. We also asked her about Bigg Boss 14. She said, "Yaar, main comment karti hoon bawaal ho jaata hai (I make a comment, and a storm is created on social media). Main dil se kuch bhi nahi bol paati (I cannot express what is there in my heart). They start trolling me non-stop."
Though Devoleena Bhattacharjee was very hesitant to comment, she finally said, "I feel the concept of seniors is quite unfair. The young people are unable to shine and build that emotional connect with the audiences. People have seen what Sidharth Shukla, Gauahar Khan and Hina Khan have brought to the table. I feel it does not help the new people inside the house." Last year, Devoleena was one of the star contestants along with Rashami Desai and Sidharth Shukla. But she suffered a back injury that led to her ouster from the show. The incident was depressing for Devoleena.
She told us, "Yeah, it was a huge setback. I was very upset. After a lot of deliberations, I agreed to do Bigg Boss 13. I really wanted to compete till the end of the season, but sadly it did not materialise. But I have a positive attitude. I needed to give this time to my health or else I could not have done this show." The actress is back as Gopi Bahu in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2. Many wanted to see Devo in a different kind of project. She told us, "was hoping for the same. I really wanted to do something different. But then if it is Gopi, I do not see anyone else doing it. Woh chance kisi aur ko dene ka mann nahi kiya...I cannot give away Gopi just like that." We hope that Saath Nibhaana Saathiya rocks the TRP charts!
