While all the movie buffs are happy and excited as we saw multiplexes reopening yesterday across the nation, we have some amazing web series and films, which are releasing this weekend on OTT platforms, which will entertain you, if you don't want to step out of your home. Putham Pudhu Kaalai - (October 16)

The Tamil venture, which has released today on Amazon Prime Video is an anthology of five stories, which are directed by Sudha Kongara, Gautham Menon, Suhasini Mani Ratman, Rajiv Menon and Karthik Subbaraj. The titles of their segments are Ilamai Idho Idho, Avarum Naanum/Avalum Naanum, Coffee, Anyone?, Reunion and Miracle. It features Jayaram, Oorvasi, Kalidas Jayaram, Kalyani Priyadarshan, M S Baaskar, Ritu Varma, Shruti Haasan, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Anu Hasan, Kathadi Ramamurthy, Komalam Charuhasan, Andrea Jeremiah, Gurucharan C, Leela Samson, Simha, Sharath Ravi and K Muthukumar in important roles.

Poison 2 - (October 16)

The Zee 5 web-series, which explores the elements of revenge, jealousy, money, greed, power love, betrayal, law, features the ensemble cast of Aftab Shivdasani, Raai Laxmi, Rahul Dev, Pawan Chopra, Gaurav Sharma and Sakshi Pradhan.

Halal Love Story - (October 15)

The Malayam entertainer features superstar Indrajith Sukumaran along with Parvathy Thiruvothu, Joju George, Soubin Shahir, Grace Antony and Sharafudheen in pivotal roles. Directed by Zakariya Mohammed, the film is produced by Aashiq Abu, Harshad Ali and Jesna Ashim under the banner Papaya Films. It arrived on Amazon yesterday.

Grand Army (October 16)

The Netflix drama series, which released today, narrates five stories of five students, who fight for their future. The high-school drama is based on Slut: The Play and stars Odessa A'zion, Odley Jean, Amir Bageria and others in key roles.

Meet The Chimps (October 16)

The Nat Geo original series, which is based on lots on chimps and narrated by Jane Lynch, premiered today on Disney + Hotstar.
