With the nine days of Navratri about to end and the big festival of Dussehra around the corner, the celebrations across the country are on in full swing, and are celebrities are in equally high spirits to ring in the festivities. To get a low down on how some of our celebs are celebrating Navratri along with their plans for Dussehra, with the safety measures they're exercising given the continued threat of the coronavirus pandemic, BollywoodLife recently got in touch with, Shubhangi Atre, Rohitashv Gour and Saanand Verma, three of the main cast members of the superhit TV show, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai.

Letting us in on all the delicacies she's been preparing for Navratri and how she'll be playing Garba and Dandiya indoors this years, Shubhangi Atre aka Angoori Bhabi said, "The nine days of Navratri are special to me, as I take the opportunity to give my share of the meal to those who need it the most. I celebrate the nine days with the preparation of bhog for the Devi Maa. I make puris, aloo and channa sabzi with mango pickle and sweet lassi. The time and process of making this special menu gives me immense joy and also brings the festive spirit alive at home. The aroma of the bhog and incense sticks soothes me. Apart from this, I also love playing Garba. Dancing is one of my passions, and I thoroughly enjoy it, and now that Navratri is here, I will be grooving to Garba and dandiya tunes indoors."

Meanwhile, Rohitashv Gour, who plays Manmohan Tiwari on the show, said, "The celebrations will be more of an intimate affair this year. We will welcome Devi Maa, perform aarti and follow the rituals with great enthusiasm and fervour. Since Navratri is considered as one of the longest dance festivals celebrated in the world, we will surely keep to the tradition of playing Garba songs and dancing to the catchy tunes at home. For Kanya pujan, we intend to cook food at home and send it to kanyas' homes."

Citing precautionary steps against COVID-19 as a reason behind tweaking his customary Dussehra plans, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai's Saanand Verma revealed, "Dussehra is a time where I religiously taken a little time off and visit my friend's houses in addition to pandals for Durga Maa's darshan. I love the richness and cultural connect this festival has to offer. From dancing to Garba songs to being a part of all the celebrations, I enjoy doing it all. People bring out their best sets of clothes, groups of friends plan reunions, families have the opportunity to spend time together and food is, of course, the highlight. Since this year, travelling and meeting my friends physically will not be possible, I won't be surprised if I spend major parts of my day catching up with everyone virtually. This year's celebrations will not only end up being unique, but also something to remember for a long long time."
