The talented and versatile actor of Bollywood, Rajkummar Rao, has become one of the busiest stars of B-Town as the Stree star is set to shoot four films back-to-back. While his latest film Ludo, which also features Aditya Roy Kapur, Abhishek Bachchan and others in key roles, is set to release on an OTT platform, the actor will kickstart the shooting of untitled film this Friday in Chandigarh, which marks the Bollywood debut Abhishek Jain and also stars Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal and Dimple Kapadia in key roles.
A source close to the film to Mumbai Mirror, "He (Rajkummar Rao) flies to Chandigarh today with the entire team. It's a marathon schedule, to be shot at real locations, and will continue till the year-end." The actor will start the year with Badhaai Do, where his costar Bhumi Pednekar will portray the role of a PT teacher, who dreams of representing Indian in the game of handball.. "That film is currently in prep, and, for now, Raj is following a 60-day per film policy," added the source. Talking the about the highly-anticipated Chupke Chupke remake, it will roll in March next year. "The script is undergoing some rewrites as the makers are determined to do justice to the
original. They are also in talks with several actors for the role of Sukumar, professor of English masquerading as Parimal and trying to teach botany, enacted by Amitabh Bachchan in the original. The cast should be locked by December," informed the source.
Post that he will shoot for an investigative thriller, which is the remake of Telugu hit and will helmed by the original director Dr Sailesh Kolanu. "It's currently being adapted and they are hoping to roll by April end or early May with a start-to-finish schedule, calling it a wrap by the end of June," said the source.
