In 2016, Adhyayan Suman had poured his heart out while speaking about his toxic relationship with ex-girlfriend Kangana Ranaut. He had claimed that Kangana had once fought with him after he refused to consume cocaine at one of her birthday parties. Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, a couple of weeks ago, had taken a note of Adhyayan's sensational interview and ordered a probe into the actress' alleged drugs consumption. He had also said that the Mumbai Police will investigate the matter. And since Kangana seems to be in a state of war against the Maharashtra government, it might just be a matter of time when the Mumbai Police will spring into action. But the question now arises here is - will Adhyayan Suman open up about Kangana's alleged drug link if the Mumbai Police summons him for interrogation?
When Adhyayan was asked whether he will stand firm on the accusations made against Kangana in his old interview, the actor told Aaj Tak, "I will stand firm on the point I recently made that my it was nothing but my emotional outburst on everything I was going through. I spoke about it in 2016 and the incident that I was talking about had happened in 2008, so basically here we are digging out 12-year-old skeletons from their graves. She was younger, we were together and the visual statement that I made recently is also in public domain. Whatever I had to say, I have said it already and I don't want to say anything further on this topic. Kangana has her own set of battles, I have my own set of battles. She has her own journey, I have my own journey. Let's respect each other's journeys."
Adhyayan was quoted as saying in the 2016 interview to DNA, "On her birthday in March 2008 at The Leela, she (Kangana Ranaut) had invited everybody that she had worked with. She said ' Let's do cocaine in the night.' I had smoked hash with her a couple of times before and didn't like it, so I said no. I remember getting into the biggest argument that night because I said no to cocaine."
For the uninitiated, Kangana had recently alleged that 99 per cent of Bollywood is on drugs after the drug angle emerged in Sushant Singh Rajput's death investigation. She even demanded that actors like Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and director Ayan Mukerji should go for blood test to prove that they are clean. She also said that she is more than happy to get a drug test done after Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh stated that the Mumbai Police would be probing the actress for reportedly using drugs.
It remains to be seen if the Mumbai Police will summon Adhyayan to probe Kangana's drug connection. Let's wait and watch for the drama to unfold.
