Vijay Deverakonda collaborates with Pushpa director for his next; says, 'The actor in me is super excited'

The handsome hunk of Tollywood, Vijay Deverakonda, who garnered fan following across the nation for his performances in films like Geetha Govindam and Arjun Reddy, has collaborated with filmmaker Sukumar for his next. The actor shared the news on his social media account and wrote, "Sukumar - Vijay Deverakonda The actor in me is super excited The audience in me is celebrating! We guarantee you memorable Cinema.. I can't wait to be on set with Sukku sirrr Happy birthday Kedar, you've been a good friend and you work extremely hard :)" The film will be produced by Kedar Selagamsetty and will release in 2o22.

Meanwhile, the handsome hunk will soon resume the shooting of his first pan-India film Fighter. The Hindi version of the film is presented by Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Productions. According to Mumbai Mirror, Vijay Deverakonda underwent hardcore training and followed a strict diet to prepare for his character. The Geetha Govindam star also visited Thailand to learn mixed martial arts and various other fight forms. In the film, Deverakonda will be seen flaunting six-pack abs. Apart from Vijay, Fighter will also feature Ananya Panday, Ronit Roy and Baahubali star Ramya Krishnan in pivotal roles.

Talking about the film, Ronit informed a leading daily, "It is a pan-India action film that will feature a lot of mixed martial arts and will be shot extensively in the next six months. The film is directed by Puri Jagannadh, who is known for delivering blockbusters like Badri, Pokiri, Desamuduru, Neninthe, Golimaar, Businessman, Temper, Iddarammayilatho and others. The film is expected hit the screens in 2021. So, are you excited for this venture?
