Over the past couple of days, we have witnessed a spate of interviews from in the media. Kangana Ranaut in her interviews and social media tweets have hit out against nepotism, drug menace, money-laundering and what not. After Kangana Ranaut took a number of digs at the Maharashtra Government and Shiv Sena, some people came out in support. Urmila Matondkar in a couple of interviews said that Kangana Ranaut should check the drug menace in Himachal Pradesh, as the drugs originate from there. She also said that Kangana Ranaut was like a Rudaali who was constantly crying whatever the situation. Upset, Kangana Ranaut hit out at Urmila Matondkar in her interview with Navika Kumar.
She called Urmila Matondkar a 'soft porn star' and said if someone of her calibre could get a ticket to enter politics, then she could too. Kangana Ranaut said that she was offered tickets on numerous occasions, and has refused it, as she does not want to enter that field. The Tanu Weds Manu actress also spoke about how Urmila Matondkar was not exactly known for her acting prowess. This did not go down well with a number of people. They felt she could have made her point even without publicly degrading someone.
Now, Ram Gopal Varma who has considered Urmila Matondkar as his muse has come to her defence. He tweeted, "Not wanting to get into slanging matches with anyone, I believe that @UrmilaMatondkar has more than proved her versatile talent in enacting such diversely complex roles as in RANGEELA,SATYA,KAUN,BHOOT,EK HASEENA THI etc."

Kangana Ranaut has got into Twitter wars with a number of people like Taapsee Pannu, Swara Bhaskar and Anurag Kashyap. She has angrily called them out as 'chaploos outsiders' in earlier interviews. She even hit out at Jaya Bachchan for her Zero Hour notice at Rajya Sabha for tarnishing the image of Bollywood. People had slammed Kangana Ranaut.
