Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna's son Aarav celebrates his birthday today. He turns 18 today and there has always been a lot of excitement about him entering Bollywood. However, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna have kept their kids away from the limelight. Even after that, the media keeps on asking about Aarav to Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna. Twinkle Khanna keeps on sharing pictures with her kids. Aarav has been someone who does not like to have any attention from the media. Akshay Kumar spoke about his son to adventure enthusiast and host Bear Grylls of Discovery's Into the Wild with Bear Grylls. He said, "My son is very different. He just doesn't want to tell anyone that he's my son. He wants to be away from the limelight. He wants to have his own identity. That's what the whole thing and I understand it. So, I let him be the way he wants to."
Akshay Kumar is very frequently asked when his son would make in debut. In 2018, Akshay Kumar spoke to Hindustan Times about the same. He said, "He is just a 16-year-old kid, who is enjoying his life. There's no need to discuss his career right now and put pressure on him. I feel that [kids feeling pressure] will happen only if the parents in a way put some kind of burden. I am very clear that whether my kids want to become a painter, doctor or open a restaurant, I am fine. My dad never put any pressure on me. He was like, 'if you're interested in sports and karate; and want to be like Bruce Lee, go for it. But become at least half a Bruce Lee (laughs).' Aaj wahi cheez kaam aayi na mere."
Akshay Kumar was also seen drinking elephant poop tea in the Bear Grylls show. The actor was a part of an Instagram Live with his Bell Bottom co-star Huma Qureshi and Bear Grylls. When asked about the elephant poop tea, Akshay said, "I used to drink cow's urine every day for Ayurvedic reasons, so having elephant's poop tea was okay."
