Kangana Ranaut's office, Manikarnika Pictures in Mumbai's Khar was demolished by the BMC. She was enroute from Chandigarh to Mumbai at that time. She had finished work on her new office just four months ago. The BMC has razed the facade and there has been damage to the interiors as well. This decision taken by the BMC is not liked by people. The BMC has been receiving a lot of bashing from the people who find this act as illegal. They feel that this shouldn't have been done in the absence of Kangana Ranaut. Many celebrities have also given their opinions on the same. Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee has now reacted on the BMC demolishing Kangana Ranaut's office. The actress has called this act as a sad one. In an interview with the Spotboye, Devoleena Bhattacharjee spoke about it.
She said, "Being a well known face, I don't think she must have done any kind of illegal construction and she also claims that she has all the permission proofs from BMC. So demolishing her office before she could have reached Mumbai and showed them the documents is not right. I feel they should have waited for her and an ultimatum must have been given to fix if anything was not proper but breaking the office in her absence is absolutely incorrect. This is a weird act by them and I don't support this act at all. If something had started verbally they would have replied to her verbally." Devoleena Bhattacharjee had also tweeted about this and wrote, "This is wrong & I condemn this completely. @mybm #IStandWithKanganaRanaut"
