The wider net over Bollywood and it's alleged nexus with the drug mafia is now being cast with ferocity by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), and it's dragging several people into infamy. Today, Rakul Preet Singh had arrived at the NCB for her questioning, following Bollywood news reports that her name had cropped up in the larger Bollywood drug links investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. And now, quick on the heels of the De De Pyaar De actress, Depeika Padukone's manager's, Karishma Prakash, has also reached the NCB for her interrogation, where most of the questions will no doubt be about her A-list client.
For the uninitiated, it was the WhatsApp chat allegedly between Deepika Padukone and Karishma Prakash, purportedly about the latter being asked for drugs by the former to be delivered at a party at high-end restaurant Koko in Lower Parel, Mumbai, which leaked, and led to a can of worms supposedly being opened. This is the first time that both Rakul Preet Singh have appeared before the NCB. Entertainment news reports further state that Deepika, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan are all expected to appear before the NCB for questioning tomorrow.
Meanwhile, some sources have told to Republic TV, "Earlier, Padukone's manager, Karishma Prakash, was summoned to join the investigation, but she sought time due to ill health, and requested for an exemption from appearance till Friday. Sources have now informed Republic TV that Karishma is currently with Deepika in Goa."
Not one to ever be left out of the equation, Kangana Ranaut, too, had passed a jibe at Deepika's earlier tweet on depression, linking it to her present predicament, with the Queen actress having posted: "Repeat after me, depression is a consequence of drug abuse. So called high society rich star children who claim to be classy and have a good upbringing ask their manager ," MAAL HAI KYA?" Here it is...

We wonder what Karishma and Rakul would've revealed to the NCB.
