Bigg Boss 14 will begin October 3. The promos and teasers of the show have raised the excitement level. The show has been the most awaited one and this time the show will have a lot of changes due to the coronavirus outbreak. Just like every year, this year too there will be any ex-contestants who will enter as special guests and will play some tasks with the housemates. Recently, we saw Sidharth Shukla, Gauahar Khan, and Hina Khan's promo video of Bigg Boss. Bigg Boss 11's Vikas Gupta who was known as the mastermind was one of the most loved contestants. He was also a part of Bigg Boss 13 and smartly played the game as a proxy of Devoleena Bhattacharjee who was injured. Vikas Gupta has been entering Bigg Boss seasons post his season as a guest and also played various tasks with the housemates. It seemed that this year too he would enter the show but that won' happen. Yes, Vikas Gupta is not entering the Bigg Boss 14 house this year.
As per reports in ETimes, a source informed them that the stage was secretly set for Vikas Gupta to enter too. Vikas was supposed to enter with Sidharth, Hina and Gauahar. He had been told and he was up for it. But now, the tables have turned. Vikas does not find himself in the final list which is ready with the broadcaster and production house. The source said, "It is a mystery why Vikas' name was struck off, more or less at the last minute. One wonders who did this to him and why. It was not in good taste, especially if you consider that his presence in the last 3 seasons- Season 11, 12 and 13- garnered good Trp." Vikas Gupta also confirmed the news to ETimes, he said, "Yes, I was approached for Bigg Boss 14 and I was game for it. Seems, they changed their mind. I am not going now. But it's okay."
According to an Instagram page, biggbosskhabri, this season there will be no double beds for a few weeks. The contestants will not be allowed to share beds for the first few weeks after their entry. The contestants will have to go through a coronavirus test every week. It is also reported that in the first few weeks there will not be any physical tasks so that the contestants stay away from each other. They will not be allowed to use each other's vessels as well. Bigg Boss 14 house is said to have a mini theatre, mall, restaurant corner, spa amongst many other things.
